Robin Hornstra

Robin Hornstra, L.C.S.W. RPT-S, currently serves as a Program Therapist at AbleTo, emphasizing actionable skills and healthy habits through evidence-based programs. In addition to this role, Robin operates a private practice with Not Just Play, LLC, focusing on therapeutic play for children. As an Affiliate Field Instruction Faculty Member at both Capella University and Virginia Commonwealth University, Robin supervises graduate and undergraduate social work students. Previous experience includes directing education and clinical services at The ReFocus Center, clinical supervision at United Counseling Services, and managing programs at KidsPeace National Centers. Robin holds a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, various professional certifications, and extensive training in trauma and play therapy.
