Baru Rao

Baru Rao is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations and leadership roles across major technology firms. Currently serving as Head Of Operations at Capgemini since April 2003, Baru Rao oversees a significant business unit generating over $5 billion in revenue, focusing on profitability, transformation, and risk management. Previously, as CEO Cloud Infrastructure Services North America, responsibility included managing a $650 million business unit, ensuring customer satisfaction, sales, and delivery. Earlier roles encompassed leadership positions in Capgemini India, where Baru Rao drove substantial growth, and Syntel (ATOS) India, expanding staff from 450 to 5000. Education includes a PhD in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, along with an M.Tech in Computer Engineering and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from renowned institutions.
