James Farnsworth

James Farnsworth is the Associate General Counsel for Capgemini North America, Inc., with over 15 years of experience in data privacy and security law. Currently, they serve as the North America Data Privacy Officer, Chief North America Privacy and Security Counsel, and Chief US Compliance & Regulatory Counsel, overseeing the company’s North America data privacy program and regulatory legal team. They have established the North American data privacy champions network and chair the company’s data privacy forum, while also leading initiatives related to Generative AI compliance. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in History from Oberlin College and a Doctor of Law degree from New York University School of Law.
