Karen Thompson

Karen Thompson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the water and energy sectors. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at Capgemini since October 2023, Karen has also held multiple leadership roles at Capgemini Invent since 2009, including Chief Sales Officer Invent UK and Head of Energy and Utilities. In these positions, Karen drives performance and growth across various sub-sectors, utilizing digital solutions to enhance operational efficiencies and customer centricity. Previously, Karen managed the Operations Management Centre at Anglian Water Services, overseeing the implementation of automated systems and leading a team of over 100 staff. Karen holds a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham and management qualifications from Nottingham Trent University.
