Dennis Silvestrone

Dennis Silvestrone has been Dean of the Faculty of Business & Professional Studies at Capilano University since July 2017. Prior to that, they served as Chair of Education Council at Okanagan College from January to July 2017. From March 2014 to August 2020, they were Director of Continuing Studies and Corporate Training at Okanagan College. From August 2012 to February 2014, they were Director and Senior Lecturer of Continuing Education at the University of Manitoba. Dennis has also served as Development and Outreach Facilitator– Applied research and industry liaison at North Island College from August 2011 to July 2012.

Dennis Silvestrone has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Kingston University, a PhD in progress from the University of Surrey, a Post Graduate Diploma from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Victoria, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Simon Fraser University.

Dennis Silvestrone reports to Paul Dangerfield, President & Vice-Chancellor. They are on a team with Annie Prud - Director, Continuing Studies & Executive Education, Miranda Huron - Director, Indigenous Education & Affairs, and Jennifer Jamieson - Manager, Policy, Privacy & Governance.
