Jordan Novak has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. They began their career as a Forensic IT Specialist at KNA in 2008 and stayed there until 2010. From 2010 to 2012, Novak worked as an Associate Marketing and Sales Manager at Capsim Management Simulations, Inc. In this role, they managed trade show strategies, international distributor relationships, and traveled to strengthen relationships with various stakeholders. They then transitioned to the role of Product Manager at Capsim from 2012 to 2013, where they led projects involving cross-functional project management, product reintroduction, and customized simulations. From 2014 to 2020, Novak served as the Director of Product Design and Development at Capsim, overseeing the creation and development of products. They were later promoted to the position of Vice President of Products and Services in 2020, which is their current role. Additionally, Novak has been an Instructor at DePaul University since 2017.

Jordan Novak completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Public Health and Biology from Northern Illinois University from 2003 to 2009. In 2013 to 2014, they pursued further education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Elmhurst University. In addition to their degrees, Jordan Novak also obtained additional certifications including "Platform Strategy: Building and Thriving in a Vibrant Ecosystem" from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in June 2016, and "Certified Associate Product Manager (CAPM)" from the Project Management Institute in July 2012.
