Russell Tolander

Russell Tolander has a work experience spanning over several years. Russell is currently working as a Managing Director at Capital Alliance Corporation since 2020. In this role, they assist founders, entrepreneurs, and owners of private companies in managing their sales processes and works with strategic and private equity buyers to acquire platform and tuck-in companies. Russell also provides industry insights through a quarterly Food Chain Industries Report.

Prior to their current position, Russell worked at ROTH Capital Partners from 2016 to 2019. Russell served as a Portfolio Manager from 2018 to 2019 and was responsible for managing institutional portfolios. Before that, they worked as an Institutional Sales representative from 2016 to 2018.

Before joining ROTH Capital Partners, Russell was involved in the Cascade Foundation of Southern Arizona as a founding Director from 2008 to 2015. This non-profit organization aimed to improve the quality of life for families with inherited bleeding disorders.

Russell also has extensive experience at ROTH Capital Partners from 1993 to 2001. Russell initially joined the predecessor company, Cruttenden Roth, as a Vice President of Institutional Sales in 1993. During their time, they focused on developing Midwestern accounts and played a crucial role in securing distribution for numerous microcap IPOs, secondary offerings, and research products. Russell later became the Managing Director of Institutional Sales & Research and excelled in managing and supervising a team of professionals, coordinating research analyst and company roadshows, and equity conferences.

Before their tenure at ROTH Capital Partners, Russell worked as a Vice President of Institutional Sales at The Seidler Companies from 1997 to 1999.

Russell Tolander obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Energy Engineering from the University of Arizona, where they studied from 1980 to 1984. Russell subsequently pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, attending from 1986 to 1987.
