Capital Area District Libraries
Keith Latinen is an experienced public service librarian currently employed at Capital Area District Libraries since April 2018, where responsibilities include planning and supervising programs for diverse age groups and implementing outreach initiatives. As the owner of Count Your Lucky Stars Records since June 2007, Keith manages all aspects of label operations, including budgeting and marketing. Previous roles include Digital Learning Specialist at Flint Public Library, where development and execution of digital literacy programs took place, and Library Assistant at Mason Public Library, focusing on patron assistance and program development. Keith's early experience includes roles as a substitute teacher and circulation clerk, contributing to a well-rounded background in education and library services. Keith holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Michigan State University.
