Aimee Mayer-Salins

Aimee Mayer-Salins is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in immigration law and advocacy. Currently serving as the Managing Appeals Attorney at Amica Center for Immigrant Rights, Aimee oversees a detained adult appeals caseload and collaborates with peers to enhance appellate litigation for immigrants and refugees. Prior roles include Supervisory Senior Attorney at the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc., where Aimee developed resources to aid vulnerable immigrants and led the Remote Motions to Reopen Project. Aimee's previous experience encompasses positions at Fragomen and Rubin Pomerleau, PC, focused on complex immigration cases, as well as significant roles in legal education and civil rights investigations during internships at notable organizations, including the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Aimee holds a Juris Doctor from American University, Washington College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Government & Politics from the University of Maryland College Park.
