Katharine Gordon

Katharine Gordon is a seasoned attorney with a diverse background in providing legal services and advocacy for marginalized populations, particularly immigrants and individuals facing discrimination. Currently serving as a Senior Attorney at the Capital Area Immigrants' Rights Coalition since February 2020, Katharine leads the National Qualified Representative Program, offering comprehensive legal support to detained immigrants with disabilities in the Maryland, D.C., and Virginia region. Previous roles include Pro Bono Coordinator and Staff Attorney at Al Otro Lado, where Katharine addressed the needs of refugees and asylum seekers, and tenure as Director of the Legal Advocate Program at the American Diabetes Association, focusing on disability discrimination related to diabetes.
