Destiny Polk, MBA, currently serves as an Accounting Analyst at Capital Area Transit System since March 2018. Prior experience includes roles as a Substitute Teacher at East Baton Rouge Parish School System, where classroom management and adaptability were key strengths, and as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, focusing on internal controls and process improvement. Earlier experience as an Accounting Clerk at Hampton Accounting & Tax Services involved managing the full accounting cycle and preparing individual tax returns. Destiny holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, along with an Associate degree in General Studies with a focus on Business from South Louisiana Community College.
