T. Ralph Woodard

Ralph Woodard oversees financial functions for Capital and its individual operating units, directs all fiscal activities and treasury functions, and advises executive management on strategic financial matters. He spent nearly five years as CFO for Blue Cross of Idaho, and nearly 14 years with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee serving as treasurer, chief risk officer, chief accounting officer/controller, and CFO of numerous subsidiaries. An Alabama native, Woodard earned an accounting degree at Auburn University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee. Woodard is a tennis enthusiast. He and his wife Kelley have four children.
