Sterling Tang

Sterling Tang has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Sterling currently holds the position of Director Business Technology at Capital Brands LLC, starting in September 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Corporate Systems and PMO at Cypress Creek Renewables from 2016 to 2019. Sterling also worked as the Director of PMO at Verengo Solar in 2015, and as the Director of Client Services and Program Management at OYO Direct in 2014-2015.

Early in their career, Sterling held the role of Project Manager at Program Management Office at Guthy-Renker from 2010 to 2013. Sterling also worked as the Business Intelligence Manager at Strategic Operations at The Walt Disney Studios in 2008-2009, and as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at Keystone Automotive from 2006 to 2008.

Sterling started their career in the public sector as a Police Officer at the New York City Police Department from 2002 to 2005. Sterling then transitioned to the finance industry, working as a QA Manager at Private Client Services at Bear Stearns from 1997 to 2001. Sterling'sfirst job in the financial sector was as a Financial Analyst at Morgan Stanley from 1994 to 1997.

Sterling Tang has a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business. Prior to attending NYU, they attended Stuyvesant High School. Additionally, they have obtained certifications, including Procore Certified: Associate from Procore Technologies in May 2016. Sterling also holds a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance, and a certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
