Kira Slatton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kira began their professional career as a Student Intern at Capital Caring Health in January 2017. From there, they worked their way up, holding various roles within the company, including HR Assistant, Recruiting Assistant, Recruiter, Human Resources Generalist specializing in Compensation, and currently serves as the Human Resources Director since September 2022.
In addition to their work at Capital Caring Health, Kira also gained experience at Prince William County Park Authority. Kira started as a Facility Attendant in March 2011 and continued until May 2018. During this time, they also served as a Tumbling Instructor from January 2015 to January 2017.
Furthermore, Kira served as a Cheerleading Coach at Prince William County Public Schools. From August 2012 to June 2014, they were the Head Coach at Lake Ridge Middle, where they taught cheerleading to 25 young girls, managed competitions, and organized fundraising activities. Kira also worked as an Assistant Junior Varsity Coach at Forest Park High School, teaching cheerleading to 16-20 freshman to junior girls.
Kira Slatton obtained their Bachelor's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from George Mason University College of Public Health, where they attended from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Northern Virginia Community College, where they studied from 2012 to 2014.
