Samin Mathew has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Most recently, Mathew served as the Head of Event Sales at Capital Catering + Services starting in 2022. Mathew's early career includes positions such as Assistant Restaurant Manager at Jumeirah Group / Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts from 2003 to 2006, Restaurant Manager at Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in 2003, Assistant Manager at Sarovar Hotels & Resorts from 2001 to 2003, and Manager at CGH Earth Experience Hotels from 1998 to 2000.

Samin Mathew began their education in 1995 at the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition. Samin completed their Bachelor of Hotel Management degree in 1998, specializing in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration. In 1996, while still studying at the Institute, Samin also pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from Annamalai University. This education at Annamalai University lasted until 1999.
