Joe Withey

Joe Withey has extensive work experience in the education sector. Joe has been working at Capital City College Group since 2020, starting as the Curriculum Manager of Health and Social Care, then progressing to become the Teaching Improvement Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Quality and Compliance. Prior to that, Joe worked as a Lecturer- Leadership in Education (Ma) at the University of East London since 2020. Joe also had a significant role as the T-Level Coordinator at Newham College of Further Education from 2015 to 2020.

Joe Withey's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Plymouth, which was earned from 2011 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they obtained a Professional Graduate Certificate of Education in Post Compulsory Education and Training from Canterbury Christ Church University. In 2018, they achieved a Qualified Teaching and Learning Status (QTLS) certification from the Society of Education and Training. Joe then pursued a Master of Arts in Leadership in Education from the University of East London from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Joe is working towards a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Coaching and Mentoring at the University of East London, which they started in 2020 and is expected to complete by 2025.
