Lata Malviya has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Lata started their career as a Customer Service Assistant at Waitrose in 1987. Lata then worked as a Customer Service Manager at British Gas from 1989 to 1999, and later as a Customer Service Manager at Kensington Housing Trust from 1999 to 2002. From 2002 to 2013, Lata worked as a Freelance NVQ Assessor and Internal Verifier for various companies, including Queen Mary University of London and CAMDEN ITEC. Lata also worked as a Freelance NVQ Assessor/Tutor at COMMUNITIES INTO TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT from 2008 to 2010. Lata's other roles include being a Freelance DSE assessor at Capita Property and Infrastructure from 2012 to 2016, and a Lead Internal Quality Assurer - Employability (Freelance) at Westminster Kingsway College since 2011.
Lata Malviya attended Kingsmead School from 1982 to 1987. Later, they pursued a Btec Diploma in Business and Finance at Barnet College from 1987 to 1989. Subsequently, Lata completed an HNC in Business and Finance at the University of North London from 1989 to 1991, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
