Nicola Mansell FRSA has extensive work experience in the education sector. Nicola started their career as a Lecturer at The Bedford College Group in 2009 and later moved on to work as a Lecturer, Head of Art Department, and A Level Course Manager at The Bedford Sixth Form from 2012 to 2020. In 2016, they also worked as an A Level Moderator for Art & Design at Pearson. In 2020, Nicola joined Tresham College as the Head of Department Art & Design FE & HE and Higher Education Specialist. Currently, they are working as the Head of School for Digital, Creative Media & Arts WKC at Capital City College Group.

Nicola Mansell FRSA has a diverse education history. In 2004-2006, they pursued a HND in Fashion Promotion and CAD at Brighton MET. Following this, they attended the University of Bedfordshire from 2007-2008, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Graphic Design for Print and New Media. In 2009-2011, Nicola attended The Bedford College Group to obtain a PGCE. Later, from 2017-2018, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Art & Design, specializing in Graphic Design at the University of Bedfordshire. In 2019-2020, Nicola earned a Leadership and Management Certificate from the Chartered Management Institute. Most recently, in 2022-2023, they are attending Best Practice Network to obtain a National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (DfE).
