Greg Shumate

Greg Shumate serves as the CEO and Managing Partner of Capital City Home Loans, LLC since August 2006. In addition to this role, Shumate has been a member of the Board of Directors for multiple organizations, including Warrick Dunn Communities, Georgia Gwinnett College, Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia, and Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, among others. Previously, Shumate held significant leadership positions at Opteum Financial Services, LLC, Premier Lending Corporation, and Prime Bank, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to the banking and mortgage industries. Shumate earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business between 1980 and 1984. Additionally, Shumate has contributed to the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia, serving as Past President.
