Karen Dresden

Karen Dresden has over two decades of experience in education, serving as the Senior Advisor and Founder/Head of School at Capital City Public Charter School from 2000 until February 2024. Prior to this role, Karen worked as a Classroom Teacher for the District of Columbia Public Schools from 1992 to 1999. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Master of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.
