Mary Thomas

Mary Thomas is an experienced educator with a diverse background in academic technology and librarianship. Currently serving as the Middle School Academic Technology Coordinator at Capital City Public Charter School since August 2024, Mary previously held the position of Librarian and Educational Technology Coordinator at DCI - District of Columbia International School from March 2018 to July 2024. Mary began their career as a teacher at Creative Minds International Public Charter School and UNO Charter School Network between 2011 and 2014. Additional experience includes involvement with Teach For America as a 2011 Chicago Corps Member and as a Classroom Intern at St. Louis Language Immersion Schools. Mary earned a Master of Teaching from Dominican University and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from Saint Louis University.
