Hein Htet is a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, having completed studies from 2018 to October 2021. Prior to this, Hein Htet attended UWC South East Asia, earning an International Baccalaureate Diploma from 2005 to 2016. Professional experience includes participation as a student at the Institute of Culinary Education from September 2021 to June 2022, a role as a Business Analyst at Fullerton Financial Holdings in July 2018, focusing on micro-finance within the Small Medium Enterprise Division, and serving as an Emergency Medical Technician and Section Commander for the Singapore Civil Defence Force from July 2016 to July 2018, responding to over 1000 medical emergencies.

Started in the 1960 as a small trading company, CDSG has since grown into one of the most respected and prominent conglomerates in Myanmar, with 15 operating entities across the following key sectors: Food, Retail, Real Estate, Healthcare, Financial Services, Automotive Distribution and Insurance. Food, being the Group’s initial business, has been developed into an integrated end-to-end value chain. In 2008, CDSG entered into the retail market by opening the Capital Hypermarket, followed by a chain of convenience stores called G&G (grab& go). With the launch in 2013 of its flagship Capital City mixed-use development in Yangon, CDSG is fast gaining recognition as a major real estate developer as well. Currently, the company has more than 7,800 people.
