Sarah Samascott

Sarah Samascott is currently a School Psychology Trainee at Schenectady City School District since September 2017 and has served as a Research Assistant at the University at Albany, SUNY since August 2016. Concurrently, Sarah is a Teacher Assistant at Capital District Beginnings, providing support in an integrated classroom for special education. Prior experience includes working as a Community Residence Counselor at Transitional Services Association, Inc., where goal-oriented service plans were created for adults with severe psychiatric conditions, and as a Patient Safety Assistant at Saratoga Hospital, ensuring patient safety for those at risk of self-harm. Sarah's research experience dates back to their time as a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, contributing to data collection and transcriptions. Academically, Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science in Educational Psychology & Methodology from the University at Albany, where further studies are ongoing.
