Jon Scherzer

Jon Scherzer has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jon began their career as the Director of Communications for Albany River Rats from August 1999 to July 2002. Following that, they joined Capital District Sports, Inc. as the Vice President of Marketing & Communications, where they held the position for 11 years. In this role, they were responsible for strategic planning, directing marketing campaigns, and partnership activation for two minor league sports franchises in Albany, NY. Since June 2010, Scherzer has been working as the Director of Marketing for Capital District Transit System.

Jon Scherzer completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English at the University at Albany, SUNY from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Ramapo High School from 1991 to 1994, although no degree or field of study information for this period is available.
