Gene Rodriguez

Gene Rodriguez has extensive experience in educational, program facilitation, and support roles, currently serving as a Program Facilitator at Capital District YMCA since February 2024. Rodriguez has worked with the Enlarged City School District of Troy, NY, as a Security Monitor since October 2012, ensuring safety on school grounds. Previous roles include serving as Administrator on Duty at Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth, Teacher's Aide at Coxsackie-Athens Central School District, and Residential Counselor at Parsons Child and Family Center. Early career positions involved outreach and admissions counseling at Glenmont Job Corps, coordination for the Youth Construction Initiative at Centro Civico, and various roles at the US Census Bureau, COARC, and Capital District Worker Center.
