Catherine Boggs

Catherine (Cassie) Boggs is an Independent Non-Executive Director and was appointed in September 2021. She has over 35 years’ experience in General Counsel and senior leadership roles for companies in the mining sector.

Previously, she spent eight years with a renowned global mining investment firm, Resource Capital Funds, in the role of Partner, Vice President and General Counsel. Cassie also held the role of Senior Vice President, Corporate Development for Barrick Gold Corporation. During this time, she served as General Counsel to their LSE-listed subsidiary, African Barrick Gold and as Regional President of their African Business Unit. She was also an International Partner for the global law firm Baker McKenzie, also holding the role of the Head of Global Mining Group with the company.

Cassie is also an Independent Director for Hecla Mining Company.
