David Wilder

David Wilder is an experienced editorial professional with a robust background in economics and journalism. Currently serving as Editorial Manager at Capital Economics since May 2020, David previously held the position of Managing Editor at FT Confidential Research from October 2015 to December 2019 and acted as Principal in London. David's extensive experience also includes a tenure as Senior China Editor and Bureau Chief at MNI from April 2005 to September 2015, and a role as Markets Reporter at South China Morning Post from September 2000 to September 2003. David holds a Master of Science in International Relations and Affairs from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from King's College London.
