Caitlin Kistner, P.Eng, currently serves as a Mechanical Engineer at Capital Engineering since May 2022, following an extensive tenure as a Mechanical Engineer at Syncrude Canada Ltd. from July 2013 to May 2022, where responsibilities included slurry piping, extraction, and equipment reliability support. Prior to this, Caitlin gained valuable experience as a Field Engineer and Machinery Reliability Engineer (EIT) at Syncrude, handling RFIs, outage scopes, condition monitoring, and failure analysis for pumps and conveyors. Additional experience includes roles as an Equipment & Reliability Engineer (Student) at North Atlantic Refining Limited, Small Projects Discipline Engineer (Student) at Syncrude, and various engineering internships at Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Limited. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland, earned in 2013.
