Mary Gwinn

Mary Gwinn is the Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships at Capital Factory. Mary has over fifteen years of experience in leadership roles with a focus on strategy, team building, and executing plans to achieve desired results.

Mary began their career in the United States Navy as a Radar Intercept Officer. Mary served for ten years, including six years on active duty and four in the reserves. During their time in the Navy, Mary learned the importance of teamwork, discipline, and following orders. These skills would later prove to be invaluable in their civilian career.

After leaving the Navy, Mary worked as a Global Leverage Finance Associate at Merrill Lynch. In this role, they were responsible for providing financing solutions to clients. After a year at Merrill Lynch, Mary transitioned to Booz Allen Hamilton, where they spent seven years as a Senior Associate and Chief of Staff for a Data Science and Analytics business. In their time at Booz Allen Hamilton, Mary was part of a leadership team that executed strategy and facilitated communication within the company.

In September 2016, Mary began working at DaVita Kidney Care as a Regional Operations Director. In this role, they led a team of 250 people in the management and performance of 12 outpatient Dialysis facilities in Washington, DC. Mary was successful in generating over $5M in revenue for DaVita Kidney Care.

Mary Gwinn is an experienced leader with a proven track record of success in various industries. Mary is currently using their skills and knowledge to help grow Capital Factory and its corporate partnerships.

Mary Gwinn has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Archaeology from The University of Texas at Austin.

They are on a team with Michele Merryman Bell - Corporate Partnerships Manager, Kena Patel - Programs Manager, and Shakeel Rashed - MD, Ventures. Mary Gwinn reports to Joshua Baer, Founder & CEO.
