Capital Factory
Nick Spiller is a seasoned venture capital professional currently serving as Venture Principal at Capital Factory since March 2022, where responsibilities include leading deal flow for Texas's most active early-stage investor. Previously, Nick held the same title at Capital Factory from February 2017 to October 2020, overseeing fundraising efforts for its funds and portfolio companies, and co-hosting the Austinpreneur podcast. Nick also contributed to the establishment of Investor Relations teams and programs that facilitated significant investor introductions and capital raising for a substantial portfolio of companies. As an Editor and Co-Author at Book DAO since January 2021, Nick supports a decentralized effort to create a guide for startup teams. Experience includes roles at Favor Delivery as a Launch Manager and various positions at The University of Texas at Austin focused on entrepreneurship, culminating in a BA in Rhetoric and Writing from the same institution.
