Shanaz Hemmati

Shanaz Hemmati serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at ZenBusiness, leading the vision and operations that support entrepreneurs with essential services, overseeing significant growth in customer base and team size during a global pandemic. In addition to this role, Shanaz fulfills the position of mentor at Capital Factory, advising start-up entrepreneurs on strategy and operations. Previous experience includes advising on the launch of Golightly, serving as Global VP of Information Systems at HomeAway during its acquisition by Expedia, and holding various database administration roles at companies such as Surgient, Salion, Excite.com, and I2 Technologies. Shanaz began the professional journey at the Texas Rehabilitation Commission, managing a team in the development of a client tracking system. Education was attained at The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
