Austen Heim

Austen Heim is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and counsel. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Senior Counsel at Capital Group since March 2018, Austen has held various roles within the organization, including Vice President and Associate Counsel, Associate Counsel, and Counsel. Prior to Capital Group, experience includes working as a Corporate Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP from 2011 to 2018, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Earlier roles include Analyst at Deloitte Consulting and Community Development Volunteer at Manna Project International, as well as a Volunteer English Teacher with WorldTeach. Austen holds a J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin and a BS from Vanderbilt University in Human and Organizational Development and Communication Studies.
