Girish Patil

Girish Patil has over two decades of experience in technology and product management, currently serving as the Engineering Lead for Quantitative Research Tech at Capital Group since August 2011. In this role, Girish focuses on product management and solution engineering that supports quantitative research and data platforms for investment analysts. Previously, Girish held the position of Manager of Fixed Income Technology, overseeing operations and technology delivery for various business capabilities in the fixed income sector. Prior to Capital Group, Girish worked at Fannie Mae for nearly a decade, initially as the Manager of Capital Markets Technology, where responsibilities included overseeing platforms for mortgage securitization and loan accounting systems, and earlier as a Senior Developer, designing J2EE applications for mortgage origination and underwriting. Girish holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business.
