Joanne Lammers

Joanne Lammers currently serves as the Head of Corporate Archives at Capital Group | American Funds, where responsibilities include directing and managing the Archives team and collections that encompass a wide range of historical materials. Prior to this role, Lammers held various significant positions at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, overseeing a vast collection of reference files and related content, and at The Writers Guild Foundation as Managing Director, Library & Archives, where initiatives included establishing policies and improving access for special collections. Lammers began a career in the industry as a Story Editor/Creative Executive at A&M Films/A&M Records and has also contributed as a Script Consultant. Educational credentials include a Master of Library and Information Science in Archival Studies from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television-Film from The University of Texas at Austin.
