As chief financial officer, Jerry is responsible for providing strategic management of the company’s finance and accounting functions, making high-level decisions about overall policy and strategy as well as identifying and managing financial risks and opportunities. He also keeps a close eye on the day-to-day operations of the finance department while tending to ongoing relationship management with financial institutions.

Jerry brings over 25 years of experience in corporate tax planning and strategic financial management to his role as chief financial officer. This experience provides a solid foundation to achieve his goal of establishing best-practice policies and practices and implementing tools that ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization with strong fiscal management, project management, cross-team communications, and workflow.

Jerry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration, as well as a Master of Tax Accounting, both from the University of Alabama.

Over the years, Jerry has served his community on the boards of Warner Foundation and the Tuscaloosa YMCA. He has also served as Treasurer for a local cub scout pack, and as president of the Tuscaloosa chapter of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is an alumnus of Leadership Tuscaloosa and a current member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.
