Ramzi Moufarrej

Ramzi Moufarrej has extensive work experience in the medical field, with a focus on critical care and internal medicine. Ramzi is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Capital Health, a position they have held since July 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Medical Director and Internal Medicine and Critical Care Consultant at Capital Health's specialized rehabilitation hospital.

Before joining Capital Health, Ramzi worked at Zayed Military Hospital, Global Medical Solutions for seven years, from 2011 to 2018. During their time there, they held the position of Deputy Chief of Critical Care.

From 2006 to 2011, Ramzi worked at Zayed Military Hospital / Global Medical Solutions, where they served as a Consultant Intensivist and Chief of Critical Care. Their role involved providing care for critically ill patients in both medical and surgical ICU settings.

Ramzi's career started in 2001 at Zayed Military Hospital, where they also served as a Consultant Intensivist and Chief of Critical Care. Ramzi held this position until 2006.

In 1997, Ramzi completed a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Affiliated Programs. During this time, they also worked as an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

Ramzi began their medical career with an Internship and Residency at Duke University Health System from 1994 to 1997. During their residency, they received additional training in epidemiology and statistics, with a focus on critical care.

Ramzi Moufarrej obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the American University of Beirut from 1987 to 1990. Following this, they pursued further education at the same university and graduated with a Medical Doctorate (M.D) in Medicine from 1990 to 1994.
