Josh Pearce

Josh Pearce has a diverse work experience portfolio. Josh started their career in 2002 as the Chief Elections Officer for the Associated Students of NMSU, where they were responsible for managing school internet elections. Josh then joined Bed Bath and Beyond as an Inventory Control Manager, where they handled inventory discrepancies and trained employees on safety issues. In 2005, they transitioned to North Africa Educators as an English Teacher before joining FOCUS International in 2014 as the GBI Director, a role they held until 2017. In 2007, they became the Chief People Officer at Capital III, a position they currently hold. Josh recently joined Hacking HR as a GROWx Member in 2021.

Josh Pearce obtained a BBA in Human Resource Management from New Mexico State University, which they completed from 2001 to 2005. Following that, they pursued an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from New Mexico State University, completing it in 2006. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the SHRM Workplace Mental Health Ally certification from SHRM in 2022, becoming a POPS Founding Member from The People Ops Society in 2021, and completing the Best-Self Management Certification from the 15Five Best Self Academy in 2020. Josh also obtained the Topgrading certification from Growth Institute in 2019, and became a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM Certification in April 2018. Lastly, they obtained the Perform HR Certification from Paycor in February 2021.
