David Spivey, Jr., RICP®️, CFFL has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and positions. David began their career at The Home Depot in 1998, where they worked as an Assistant Store Manager for eight years. In this role, they were responsible for managing a team, meeting sales targets, and providing excellent customer service.
In 2007, David joined Capital Insurance Agency, Inc. as an Agent and progressively climbed the corporate ladder. David served as a Regional Sales Manager from 2010 to 2013, and then as a Regional Vice President until 2018. From 2018 to 2022, they held the position of Regional Director before being promoted to Chief Sales Officer in April 2022.
Alongside their role at Capital Insurance Agency, Inc., David also co-founded Franklin Spivey Financial, Inc. in 2013, where they hold the position of Chairman & CEO.

David also has completed a retirement income program from The American College of Financial Services from 2015 to 2017 and a program in insurance and financial services management from the American National Sales & Management Academy from 2012 to 2013. Furthermore, they have a certification in life health & variable annuities, series 6 from the Florida School of Insurance completed from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications in retirement income planning from The American College of Financial Services in December 2023.
