Lisa Gunatileka

Lisa Gunatileka is a Senior Communications Specialist at Capital Insurance Group since July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Brand Development Specialist at II-VI Incorporated, where coordination of internal editorial communications for over 20,000 employees was a key responsibility, along with managing targeted social media campaigns. At Finisar Corporation, Lisa held the role of Corporate Communications Specialist, focusing on enhancing social media engagement and organizing events in the US and Europe. As a Social Media Strategist for Hidden Talent Art Studio, effective communication strategies were developed for both employees and customers. Earlier, Lisa gained experience as a Marketing Intern at On-Site.com, where content generation and website updates were performed. Lisa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Professional & Technical Writing from San Jose State University and has further education from Edinburgh Napier University.
