Paul Smith

Paul Smith has extensive experience in the banking industry, with their most recent position being the Head of Banking Products & Propositions at Capital International Group since July 2021. Prior to this role, they were a Banking & FCP Consultant at the same company since August 2020.

Before joining Capital International Group, Paul held various leadership positions at RBS International. Paul served as the Country Head, Managing Director of Isle of Man Bank and Head of Shared Services and Payments from January 2020 onwards. Paul also held the role of Head of Shared Services & Payments from June 2019 to January 2020 and from January 2014 to January 2020. Additionally, they were the Country Head of Isle of Man and Managing Director of Isle of Man Bank from August 2016 to November 2019.

Prior to their tenure at RBS International, Paul worked at Ulster Bank as the Head of GTS Operations from January 2010 to July 2011. Paul began their career at RBSI in 1997, where they held the position of Head of Operations Isle of Man until January 2010.
