Tasnim Galal

Tasnim Galal has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Tasnim has held various roles at the International Baccalaureate, including Evaluation Leader, Reader, Programme Leader, Workshop Leader, School Visit Team Member, and Psychology and TOK Examiner. Tasnim has also worked as the Head of IB School / Vice Principal at Capital International Schools. Tasnim has served as a NEASC ACE School Visitor at the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and as a Team Member at Cognia. Tasnim is also an ELEOT 2.0 certified evaluator at AdvancED. Additionally, they have been an Executive Team Member - Secretary at the Middle East IB Association and a Co-Founder and Educational Consultant at Inquire Education. Tasnim has also worked as a CBCI Consultant & Trainer independently. Tasnim has experience as a Distant Academic and College Counselor, Distant IB Diploma Psychology Teacher, IB & American Diploma Psychology & TOK Teacher, MYP Psychology Teacher, and Head of Academic and College Counseling Department at Jeddah Knowledge International School. Tasnim has also served as the Executive Director Assistant and Project Manager for "JKS Educational Tablets" at the same school. Lastly, they have worked as an Executive Coordinator at Elite Education Group.

Tasnim Galal completed a PhD in Education - Leadership and Learning from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society from 2018 to 2021. Tasnim holds a Master's degree in Psychology from Walden University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. In 2009, they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Tasnim Galal earned a Bachelor's degree from The American University in Cairo from 2002 to 2006, majoring in Pure Mathematics and minoring in Computer Science & Psychology. Tasnim obtained an IGCSE Certificate from Modern Educational School from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, they completed a College Counseling Specialized Certificate from UC San Diego in 2015. Tasnim Galal is also a certified College Counselor from the University of California, San Diego.
