Jim Mothorpe

Jim Mothorpe is a highly experienced CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM), currently working at Capital Investment Companies since May 2009, where comprehensive financial planning solutions are offered. Mothorpe has also served as a registered representative and financial consultant for Capital Investment Group, Inc. In addition to financial services, Mothorpe has been involved in community service as a volunteer for the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce from 2000 to 2017, receiving accolades such as Ambassador of the Year in 2002 and 2011, and serving on the board from January 2008 to December 2013. Mothorpe was a SmartVestor Pro with Ramsey Solutions in 2016 and previously held positions as an Investment ELP with The Lampo Group and as a registered representative at National Life of Vermont. Mothorpe holds a Master of Science in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
