Asanka Sahabandu

Asanka Sahabandu is a seasoned Broadcast Media Professional with a robust background in the media industry, currently serving at Capital Maharaja Group since February 2014, where Asanka hosts a leading Sri Lankan English radio show that engages audiences globally through various social media platforms. In addition to this role, Asanka is the Founder of The Performance Syndicate (Pvt) Ltd, which emphasizes generating thought-provoking content through innovative strategies since May 2018. With extensive experience as an Entertainment Specialist, Asanka has been involved in multiple facets of content creation, including music production, radio play, and event hosting. Previous roles include freelance journalism at The Island and event specialization at Classic FunTime, as well as radio broadcasting at TNL Radio Network (Pvt) Limited. Education was completed at St. Peter's College from 1992 to 2005.
