Mohammed Elkuwaiz

Mohammed ElKuwaiz is a prominent finance professional with extensive experience in leadership and investment sectors. Currently serving as Chairman of the Capital Market Authority since August 2016, Mohammed has also held the role of Vice Chairman at the same organization. As a member of the Board of Trustees at Oqal, Saudi Arabia's first Angel Investor network since November 2010, Mohammed contributes to promoting entrepreneurship. Previous positions include being a member of the Investment Committees at both Awqaf Sulaiman A Al Rajhi Company and King Faisal Foundation, as well as engaging in various committees within the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mohammed co-founded and served as CEO of Derayah, an independent investment firm recognized as the largest non-bank broker in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, and has experience in academia as an adjunct faculty member at King Saud University. Mohammed's educational background includes an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from NYU Stern School of Business, along with other advanced training programs.
