Rahul Nair

Rahul Nair has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Rahul began their career at Diebold as an Application Engineer, where they were responsible for designing and deploying security systems for government agencies, commercial buildings, and other facilities. Rahul then moved on to Metro-North Railroad, where they worked as an Associate Engineer, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing rolling stock. Rahul later became a Program Manager/Equipment Engineer, overseeing the procurement and integration of dual-mode locomotives. Rahul then joined Austin Transit Partnership as a Director, where they managed vehicle procurements and developed maintenance plans. Currently, they are working at CapMetro as the Vice President of Rolling Stock & Support Equipment, leading strategic initiatives for optimizing commuter programs and implementing a zero-emission fleet.

Rahul Nair has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manhattan College. Rahul also has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with a minor in Mathematics, from the same institution.
