Alisa Barnes

Alisa Barnes is an accomplished business operations leader with extensive experience in the technology and data sectors. Currently serving as the Chief of Staff to the Chief Data Officer and Executive Vice President of Enterprise Data at Capital One since September 2017, Alisa manages operations for over 1,300 associates and is focused on enhancing operational effectiveness. Previous roles at Capital One include Chief of Staff for Enterprise Products + Platforms and Chief of Staff for Digital Payments & Identity, where Alisa implemented significant improvements in business operations and established critical teams. Prior to Capital One, Alisa held the position of VP of Business Operations at IAC Publishing Labs and was VP of PMO at Ask.com, where leadership was demonstrated in managing technical project initiatives. Alisa's career began at AOL as Senior Technical Director, after being a Technical Producer at Fourth Dimension Interactive. Alisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Women's Studies from Yale University.
