Carl Wainwright

Carl Wainwright is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in DevOps and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer - DevOps at Capital One since January 2023, Carl previously worked as a DevOps Engineer at RealNetworks, where contributions included porting applications to Docker Swarm and optimizing processes for NVIDIA certification. Prior roles include DevOps Engineer at ip.access, managing cloud servers and migrating legacy applications, and Systems Design Engineer supporting 3G product lines. Carl's career began at Controlware as a Software Engineer, with subsequent positions at Siemens AG and NEC - Telecom Modus. Carl holds a Beng(Hons) in Communication Engineering from the University of Plymouth and an HND in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from Kings Lynn Technical College.
