Chika Chuku

Chika Chuku is an accomplished AWS Certified Software Engineer at Capital One since August 2022, specializing in the design and development of interactive web interfaces using React, and the deployment of applications in AWS environments. Previous experiences include serving as an Academic Peer Mentor for database design at the University of Maryland, co-president of the Association for Women in Computing, and a social media coordinator with Code: Black UMD, where community building was a priority. Chika has gained software development experience through internships with Match Group and participation in several notable programs, including Code2040 and Twitter's #FirstFlight20.
