Danielle Shepard

Danielle Shepard is a Senior Design Strategist at Capital One, specializing in human-centered design aimed at creating equitable, effective, and environmentally sustainable systems and services. With 12 years of experience in management, media, and operations, Danielle has led teams and built partnerships to identify user needs and community assets. Previously, Danielle worked as a Design Researcher for the University of Hawaii at Manoa and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where they focused on coral reef preservation and tackling unconscious bias, respectively. Danielle is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and a Master's Degree in Design for Social Innovation, along with an apprenticeship in Sustainability Studies at various institutions.
