Dave McCarthy

Dave McCarthy is an Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Credit Risk Officer at Capital One, where they focus on market and liquidity oversight. They previously held the position of Managing Director at Bain Capital from 2000 to 2017, following their role as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group between 1998 and 2000. Earlier in their career, McCarthy served as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the United States Navy from 1989 to 1994 and completed the Technical Leadership Program at GE from 1994 to 1996. McCarthy earned an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton School and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
